Welcome to XtendWorks ("XtendWorks," "we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our users, which include professionals seeking opportunities ("Candidates") and businesses seeking talent ("Clients"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform and services.

Candidate information. When you apply or register, we collect personal and professional details, including your name, email address, phone number, location, resume/CV, employment history, educational background, technical assessments, and professional references.

Client information. We collect business details, including company name, representative contact information, billing details, and specific hiring requirements.

Automatically collected data. We may collect usage data, IP addresses, browser types, and interaction metrics when you navigate our platform.

We use the collected data to facilitate the matching and placement of Candidates with global Clients, verify candidate credentials, work history, and technical/professional capabilities, communicate regarding interviews, offers, platform updates, and administrative notices, and improve our platform's matching processes and user experience.

When you upload a resume/CV while applying, we may use an artificial intelligence service provided by Anthropic to read it and suggest answers that pre-fill your application form. These suggestions are only a starting point: you review and edit everything before you submit, and nothing is submitted automatically.

AI is not used to decide whether an application is approved or declined. Every application is reviewed by a member of the XtendWorks team.

Anthropic processes your resume on our behalf as a service provider and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its AI models. Your resume is also stored with your profile so our team can review it. Uploading a resume is optional; you can fill in the application form by hand instead.

XtendWorks operates as a borderless platform connecting talent and enterprises internationally. By using our platform, you acknowledge and consent that your personal and professional information may be transferred to, stored, and processed across multiple jurisdictions, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. We employ industry-standard security measures to ensure data is transferred safely.

With Clients. Candidate profiles, resumes, and assessment results are shared with prospective Clients worldwide strictly for the purpose of recruitment and placement.

Service providers. We may share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our platform, conducting background checks, processing payments, or reading uploaded resumes (see "AI-assisted resume processing" above).

Legal requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, in response to a subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of XtendWorks, our users, or others.

We implement robust technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss, unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no internet-based platform is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
